You will be in awe at a diversity Slovenia can offer you! An adventure in this country roughly the size of New Jersey state can include sailing along the picturesque Adriatic coastline, a taste of best prosciutto in a wine region bordering Italy, a hike to majestic mountain ranges with over 8000 feet high peaks, and Alpine lakes, a descent to the mysterious world of the underground Karst. Modern cities, medieval villages and Alpine farms hide an abundance of unique dishes, reflecting local ingredients, cooking techniques and cultural diversity. Centuries old tradition, rich history, genuine hospitality and divine culinary delights. Taste of Slovenia adventure uncovers a slice of this heritage. We hand picked the finest restaurants and wineries and added a dash of activities here and there to introduce distinct links of Slovenian culture, national character and natural resources.
